Generosity

My little Emma is a very generous little girl. She always has been, hopefully always will be. I have however seen a side of her generosity lately that seems to have become contagious. All three of the children have generously been giving candy out of their baskets to anyone and everyone. It might appear sweet (pardon the pun), but it can mean only one thing. They got way too much candyin their Easter baskets!!!! Not even these little sugar sponges can handle all of the candy their sweet-toothed mother gave them for Easter.

Christ Is Risen!

Christ is Truly Risen, Alleluia!!!

We went to the Easter Vigil Mass last night and it was beautiful! After mass the rector of our parish called our family up to receive a special Easter blessing from our new, and wonderful bishop! It was a bit embarrassing and very humbling. Father wanted to point the kids out because they were the only children there last night and all of them were fantastic and made it through the whole 2 hour and 45 minute mass with very little complaining!

Hope you all have a very Blessed Easter! Alleluia!!!!!!!

Fun times

This past weekend, which was the beginning of Brett's Spring Break, we made the 4-hour journey down to see some very dear friends. Nothing beats a weekend filled with playing, reading, praying, eating chocolate, drinking wine, resting, and laughing.

God had a very tricky way of placing the Daniel family in our lives. He used an Archbishop, a seminary, a prospective seminarian, and a young family from Texas stopping by for a visit. When I stop to think about it I am so amazed at the perfect plan that God has for all of us. We are truly blessed for knowing these wonderful, wonderful, wonderful people (and I'm not just saying that because I know *you* read my blog). And, I have to mention that their oldest (our godson) is super cute and their second (our godson's brother) was not denied any of the cute genes either.

Here are some pictures of our fantabulous (which is a word...I have an English degree and I say it is...so there) weekend!

I tried to write about each picture, but my pictures got erased somehow so ya'll will have to settle with this "Two families, having fun!"

Be Ye Warned!

Dear Future Wife of my Eldest,
While Aidan (your future husband) and I were "tag-teaming" his bedroom (which he keeps relatively clean, in case you were interested) he told me this: Mom, when I'm an adult and married I think I'm going to stay home with the kids and my wife is going to work and I'm just going to let the kids play by themselves all day while I sit in a room, like an office or something, and play with my legos.
Be afraid...be very afraid!

Happy Birthday, my man!

Happy 30th Birthday!!!!

To the sweetest, handsomest, and wonderfulest guy ever!

A birthday party wouldn't be the same without a good game of "pin the bullet on the bullseye" (compliments of Aidan)

Our Sunday

Our Sunday was fantastic. To celebrate Brett's last day of being in his 20s we went out and snowshoed in the woods. It was a gorgeous day and everyone had a blast. Here's some pics to prove it!
