Tonight we went and visited a neighbor for a little while before dinner so we were a little bit late in eating. The kids were being wild and so I sent them upstairs to get their pjs on that way after dinner we could just get right to bed. Aidan thought that I was sending them to bed without dinner (which has happened recently to him, but only because he complained one too many times about what was being served), and I had to clarify, "No, Aidan...just get your pjs on. We'll have pajamas for dinner."
Emma- "What?" (as she literally bursts into tears) "But I'm starving...I don't just want taja....." She cut herself off before she could finish after she realized what she was saying.
Nope. No "tajamas" for dinner tonight, and no burned rice either! :-)
