8 year-old-boy visably upset about something enters room.
"Mom, I'm sorry!"
"Hmmmm.....sorry for what?"
"Well, I was threatening Gianna with the cross-bow that daddy and I made, and the string slipped out of my hand and the arrow hit Gianna in the eye."
Said stick-and-string crossbow is now sitting on Brett's "mancave" bench awaiting it's final judgement. In the meantime I'm happy to report that the "arrow", which was perfectly sharpened by aforementioned 8-year-old boy, missed his sister's eye by about an inch.
Since everything turned out fine, I have to laugh about what a scene that must have been. Never a dull moment.
