I don't think that all my "crypticness" was really necessary, but I just didn't feel like blogging excitedly about something that was not likely to happen. And alas, it's not going to happen.
We've been looking at houses to better accommodate our family. We had a great opportunity to purchase a huge (read: really, really, really big) house on 30 acres that would have been our "forever" home. However, another offer was on the table and they are currently in negotiation with that offer. It's not an official no, but a "most likely" no.
So, that's that. We're still "in the market", but there's really nothing worth looking at right now. Someday the whole story will come out, but until then we're going to prepare to spend the winter in our cozy little house that is still home.
